Újiráz is a municipality in the Berettyóújfalu small area in eastern Hungary .

history
Since the village was completely destroyed by a Tatar army in 1598, only a church ruin (rudera) can be found on the land survey (1782–1785) at the assumed location. The repopulation took place centuries later. Also in the land survey around 1892 no settlement is recorded.
