Worth seeing
The castle of the Counts of Porcia , built before 1178, still characterizes the city center, which was once surrounded by a wall. Interesting is the clock tower from the 13th century, the town hall loggia from 1555, the church of S. Maria (14th and 16th centuries), the lordship building in the Renaissance style, the church of San Giorgio (beautiful inlaid choir stalls from the 17th century ) and the Campanile (1488–1555), the only double-walled church tower in all of Friuli. Its belfry is not accessible via a staircase, but via a sloping, 46-story ramp (on which the victorious animal of the donkey race traditionally held on Assumption of Mary climbs).
