San Vito al Torre ( Friulian San Vit de Tôr ) is a northeastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1,248 inhabitants (December 31, 2019) in the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia . The municipality is located about 21.5 kilometers south-southeast of Udine on the Torre .

history

The municipality was part of the county of Gorizia and Gradisca until the end of the First World War , and was subordinate to the judicial district of Cervignano , which in turn was part of the district of Monfalcone .

The former Strada Statale 252 di Palmanova (now a regional road) leads through the municipality from Codroipo to Gradisca d'Isonzo .
