The municipality of Cavasso Nuovo ( Furlanic Cjavàs ) is located in northeastern Italy in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region . It is located north of Pordenone and has 1525 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

In addition to the main town of Cavasso Nuovo, the municipality includes another town, Orgnese. The neighboring communities are Arba , Fanna , Frisanco , Meduno and Sequals .
