San Vito al Tagliamento is a municipality in northeast Italy in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region . It has 15,246 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) and an area of 60 km².

San Vito is located about 20 km southeast of Pordenone and borders the right bank of the Tagliamento.

The city is located on an old Roman road that continues to Gruaro in Veneto.
The city of San Vito is a small town and has a historic center. In the center of the city is the Piazza del Popolo . The Raimonda Gate in the western entrance to the city is also well known. San Vito al Tagliamento is one of the largest cities in the province of Pordenone.
