Valvasone (Furlanisch Volesòn ) is a place in northeast Italy in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region and until the end of 2014 was the seat of the administration of a municipality of the same name. On January 1, 2015, this was merged with the neighboring municipality of Arzene to form the municipality of Valvasone Arzene .
geography
Valvasone is east of the provincial capital Pordenone and had a community of 2195 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2013). The municipality comprised a municipal area of 28 km². In addition to the main town Valvasone, seven other localities and hamlets belonged to the municipality: Casamatta, Ponte Tagliamento, Pozzo Dipinto, Torricella, Sassonia, Fornasini, Grava.
