Cervignano del Friuli ( Friulian Çarvignan , in the local variety Sarvignàn ; Slovenian Červinjan ) a town in the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia in Friuli , Italy with 13,781 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).
The philosopher Paolo Flores d'Arcais was born there in 1944 .
history
Until the end of the First World War in 1918, the municipality was part of the Austrian crown land Grafschaft Görz und Gradisca . It was located in the judicial district of Cervignano or in the political district of Monfalcone .
