San Leonardo (in the Furlan dialect: San Lenàrt , Slovenian: Svet Lienart or Podutana ) is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1069 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region . The municipality is located about 23.5 kilometers east-northeast of Udine and belongs to the Comunità Montana del Torre, Natisone e Collio . The administrative center of the municipality is the district of Merso di Sotto.
