Treppo Grande is located in a flat hilly topography about ten kilometers from the neighboring Alps . It is around 80 kilometers to Trieste to the southeast, and Udine is around 15 kilometers to the south.

Neighboring communities are Artegna , Buja , Cassacco , Colloredo di Monte Albano , Magnano in Riviera and Tricesimo .
