Sequals ( Secuals ) is a place and the name of the municipality in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region . The municipality consists of the main town Sequals and the towns of Lestans and Solimbergo. 2233 inhabitants live here (as of December 31, 2019).

Sequals borders the municipalities of Arba , Cavasso Nuovo , Meduno , Pinzano al Tagliamento , Spilimbergo and Travesio .

Sequals is known for the heavyweight boxing world champion Primo Carnera, who was born in Sequals, and for his mosaic artists .

In an earthquake in May 1976, some buildings were severely damaged, including the two churches of S. Andrea and S. Niccolò.
