Raveo ( Friulian Raviei ) is a municipality ( comune ) in the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia in northeastern Italy , and has 450 inhabitants (December 31, 2019). The municipality is located about 49.5 kilometers north-northwest of Udine on Degano and in Val Degano in Carnia and belongs to the Comunità Montana della Carnia .

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1234. In 1976 an earthquake destroyed parts of the community.
