Manzano (in the Friuli-Julian dialect: Manzan , German: Mantzan ) is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6409 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region . The municipality is located about 14 kilometers southeast of Udine on the Natisone .

The abbey in the district of Rosazzo , which was built between 958 and 967, is of historical importance .

The municipality is located with one stop on the Udine – Trieste railway line . Strada Statale 56 di Gorizia runs through the municipality in the same direction .
