San Giorgio di Nogaro (in the local dialect: San Zorz di Noiâr or San Zorz ) is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 7,432 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region . The municipality is located about 26 kilometers south-southwest of Udine on the Corno . San Giorgio di Nogaro comes close to the Adriatic Sea or the Laguna di Marano .

The village can look back on a long past. There was already a settlement here on Via Annia in ancient times .
