Martignacco (in the Friulian dialect: Martignà ) is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6,875 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region . The municipality is located about 8.5 kilometers northwest of Udine . Several canals (including the Canale Ledra ) run through the municipality.
