history
Apparition of Mary in Porzus
In the mountain village of Porzus high above Attimis, the almost ten-year-old girl Teresa Dush supposedly had an apparition of Mary on September 8, 1855 , on the feast day of the birth of Mary. To commemorate this event, a chapel was built right next to the site and a stone with the following inscription was placed (German translation):
- The message of September 1855
- Sanctify the feasts
- Don't escape
- Keep the fasting times
- And the eve before the holidays
- Pray the rosary well
