The municipality of Chions ( Furlanisch Cjons ) is located in northeast Italy in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region . It is located north of Pordenone and has 5180 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

In addition to the main town of Chions, the municipality includes four other localities and hamlets: Basedo, Taiedo, Torrate and Villotta. The neighboring municipalities are Azzano Decimo , Cinto Caomaggiore ( VE ), Fiume Veneto , Pramaggiore (VE), Pravisdomini , San Vito al Tagliamento and Sesto al Reghena .
