Osoppo is a municipality with 2858 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in northeast Italy in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region . The municipality of Osoppos is located on the edge of the Alps near the Tagliamento . Districts are Pineta and Rivoli.

The municipality borders on the municipalities of Buja , Forgaria nel Friuli , Gemona del Friuli , Majano , San Daniele del Friuli and Trasaghis .

Osoppo station is on the Gemona del Friuli – Sacile railway line . In the district of Rivoli there is a small airfield ( Aviosuperficie ) for general aviation .
