Majano (in the local dialect: Maian ) is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5911 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region . The municipality is located about 18 kilometers northwest of Udine east of the Tagliamento .
