Fritz Tepperwien

Fritz Tepperwien (born April 20, 1937 in Bremen ; † June 3, 2014 in Bremen) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Bremen citizenship . He was the federal chairman of the Workers' Samaritan Association .

biography

Tepperwien graduated from high school at Leibnizplatz and then studied at the school for judicial officers in Schwetzingen and was trained as a judicial officer. He worked in Bremen.

He was married and had two children. He was connected to jazz and poetry and wrote several radio plays and various newspaper articles.

politics

He had been a member of the SPD since 1966, for a long time he was a member of the SPD local club Bremen-Neustadt . Among other things, he was a member of the board of directors of the local association and the SPD sub-district of Bremen-West, as well as a sub-district and state delegate in the party for many years. In the 1970s and 1980s he headed the SPD health work group in the SPD regional association .

In addition, he acted as managing director of the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund, Society for Social Aid in Bremen. In 1994 he was one of the founders of Samaritan International , the cross-border European association of Samaritan organizations, and was its president until 2005.
