The municipality of Cordovado ( Furlanisch Cordovât ) is located in northeast Italy in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region . It is located north of Portogruaro at 15  m slm and has 2762 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

In addition to the main town Cordovado, the municipality includes four other localities and hamlets: Villa Belvedere, Saccudello, Suzzolins and Borgo Castello. The neighboring municipalities are Gruaro ( VE ), Morsano al Tagliamento , Sesto al Reghena and Teglio Veneto (VE).

Cordovado is a member of the I borghi più belli d'Italia association (“The most beautiful places in Italy”).
