The municipality of Brugnera is located in north-east Italy in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region .

Brugnera is located south of Pordenone and has 9,344 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). These live on an area of 29.24 km². The municipality is located about 100 kilometers northwest of Trieste and about twelve kilometers southwest of Pordenone.

In addition to the main town Brugnera, the municipality includes three other localities and hamlets (Frazioni): Maron, San Cassiano di Livenza and Tamai. The neighboring municipalities are Fontanafredda , Gaiarine ( TV ), Porcia , Portobuffolé (TV), Prata di Pordenone and Sacile .
