Pavia di Udine (in the local dialect: Pavie ) is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5510 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region . The municipality is located about 9 kilometers southeast of Udine on the Torre . The administrative seat of the municipality is in the district of Lauzacco .

The villages of Pavia and Percoto were first mentioned in 1135.

The A23 autostrada runs through the municipality from Gonars to the Austrian border. The former Strada Statale 352 di Grado from Udine to Grado has now been downgraded to a regional road. On the railway line from Udine to Cervignano del Friuli , the train station is in the Risano district and the stop is in the Lumignacco district .
