Gabriella Tóth (born September 23, 1996 in Berettyóújfalu , Hungary ) is a Hungarian handball player .

Career

Tóth played from 2008 for the Hungarian club Berettyó MSE. A year later, she moved to the junior department at Győri ETO KC . The backcourt player moved to first division club Veszprém Barabás KC in 2012 , for whom she scored a total of 21 goals in the European Cup Winners' Cup in the 2013/14 season . In the 2014/15 season she ran for Mosonmagyaróvári KC SE . In the summer of 2015, Tóth returned to Győri ETO KC. With Győri she won the Hungarian Supercup in 2015. Her anterior cruciate ligament ruptured while exercising in September 2015 . In 2016 she won the Hungarian Championship and the Hungarian Cup with Győri ETO KC. In the 2016/17 season, in which Győr won both the championship and the EHF Champions League, she was loaned to Kisvárdai KC from February 2017 until the end of the season. She was then loaned to the Hungarian first division club Érdi VSE . After Tóth had a permanent contract with Érdi VSE from 2019, she decided to switch to league competitor Siófok KC in summer 2020 .

Tóth won the silver medal with the Hungarian U19 selection at the U-19 European Championship in 2013 . She has been a member of the Hungarian women's national team since 2014 . With Hungary she took part in the EM 2014 . During the tournament she scored eleven goals.
