Viktor Habicht

Viktor Christoph Georg Jakob Theophil Habicht (born February 5, 1822 in Engelthal , † May 19, 1902 in Darmstadt ) was a German Protestant clergyman and member of the First Chamber of the Hessian estates.

Life

Habicht was a son of the district judge Christian Habicht in Laubach . He studied theology in Gießen and became vicar in Echzell in 1845 , pastor in Lardenbach in 1852 , dean in Grünberg in 1859 and pastor in Rüsselsheim in 1870, and from 1872 also dean in Groß-Gerau. In 1875 he became senior consistorial advisor and superintendent of the province of Upper Hesse , and in 1885 prelate of the Hessian regional church in Darmstadt. As such, he was also a member of the First Chamber of the Hessian Estates until 1902.
