Viktor Mäulen (born January 5, 1879 in Stuttgart , † February 15, 1956 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ) was a German football player and official.

Life

In 1899, some men separated from the Cannstatter football club and founded the FC Stuttgarter Cickers , including Viktor Mäulen. As a founding member, he was also part of the first board of the club and acted as the first game director of the Cickers. In the first game in the club's history, which took place on October 8, 1899 on the Stöckach-Platz against FC Stuttgart 1894, he came as a left winger. The game ended 11-0 for the Cickers. Between 1902 and 1904 Mäulen was chairman of the club and during this time he was responsible for the preparations for the acquisition of the later Kickers-Platz in Degerloch . Mäulen wanted to arrange the financing with his friend, the son of the Leicht brewery, and through his father's mediation he had the prospect of an audience with Wilhelm II with Prince Weimar . After that, Mäulen was still active as a player from 1904 on, so he played first division football for 1. FC Nuremberg .

In 1949 the trained bank director lived in Schwäbisch Gmünd .
