Viktor Nagy

Viktor Nagy (born July 24, 1984 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian water polo goalkeeper .

Nagy played at Budapesti VSC until 2004 and then moved to Vasas Budapest , with Vasas Nagy won the Hungarian national championship from 2007 to 2010 and 2012.

The 1.98 m tall Nagy was runner-up in 2007 with the Hungarian national team and third in the European championship in 2008 . Nagy was not in the Hungarian squad at the 2008 Olympic Games, alongside Zoltán Szécsi , the more experienced István Gergely returned to the Hungarian team. Since the Olympic Games Nagy has been the second goalkeeper next to the three-time Olympic champion Szécsi. He finished fifth with the Hungarian team at the 2009 World Cup , and in 2011 the team finished fourth. At the European Championships in 2012 , the Hungarian team won the bronze medal.
