history

The club, founded in 1910, attracted attention in 1924 when it was promoted to what was then the first-class district league in North Hanover . Until the introduction of the Gauligen in 1933, the Viktoria developed into an elevator team between the highest and the second highest division. After the Second World War , the club temporarily appeared as the Reichsbahn / Viktoria Harburg and in 1949 made it into the Hamburg amateur league, which was then second-rate . In the promotion season, Viktoria was runner-up in the Alster relay behind Post SV Hamburg .

Relegation followed just a year later and the team also temporarily played against relegation in the association league. From 1956 onwards, numerous successful young players joined the first team. After the runner-up in 1957, he was promoted to the Hamburg upper house a year later. In the 1959/60 season, Viktoria played for a long time for a place in the promotion round to the Oberliga Nord , but only finished fifth at the end of the season. After numerous top performers moved to other clubs, the Viktoria rose from Hamburg's elite league in 1962 and disappeared into lower divisions. After relegation in 2012, Viktoria played in the district class, the lowest league. There he was directly promoted to the district league.
