Viktoria Kaina

Viktoria Kaina (* 1969 in Guben ) is a German political scientist .

Life

From 1989 to 1991 she was an editor. From 1991 to 1996 she studied political science at the University of Potsdam . After graduating in 2001 as Dr. rer. pole. at the economics and social science faculty in Potsdam and her habilitation in 2008 and venia legendi in political science at the economics and social science faculty of the University of Potsdam, she taught from 2008 to 2011 as a private lecturer at the economics and social science faculty of the University of Potsdam, where she in 2009 represented a professorship in "Politics and Governance in Germany and Europe". In 2009 and 2010 she represented professorships at the University of Mannheim . From 2010 to 2011 she was a Heisenberg fellow of the German Research Foundation at the Mannheim Center for European Social Research ( MZES ) in Mannheim . From 2011 to 2013 she taught as a university professor and holder of the chair “Political System of the Federal Republic of Germany” at the Institute for Political Science at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena . Since 2013 she has been a university professor and head of the Department of Political Science 1: State and Government at the Institute for Political Science at the FernUniversität in Hagen .
