Vila Nova da Baronia is a place and a municipality ( freguesia ) in the Baixo Alentejo in Portugal . The municipality is located in the district of Alvito , with an area of ​​128.3 km² and 1245 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011). This corresponds to a population density of 9.7 inh / km².
