Vilhjálmur Árnason (politician)

Vilhjálmur Árnason (born October 29, 1983 in Sauðárkrókur ) is an Icelandic politician ( Independence Party ).

Vilhjálmur Árnason worked as a police officer and was a member of the board of the Icelandic Police Union from 2008 to 2012. In 2013 he received a bachelor's degree in law from Reykjavík University .

Since the Icelandic parliamentary election on April 27, 2013 , Vilhjálmur has been a member of the Icelandic parliament Althing for the southern constituency . He is a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Justice and Education and the Committee on Environment and Communication.
