Villa Eduard-Bilz-Strasse 36 (Radebeul)

The Villa Eduard-Bilz-Straße 36 is a villa in the Oberlößnitz district of the Saxon city of Radebeul . It was located in the original Sophienstrasse , which was expanded by the Ziller brothers at their own expense and which today forms the middle part of Eduard-Bilz-Strasse. The villa was built by them in 1886 on its own site at their own expense. The writer Hedwig von Schreibershofen lived there around 1898 .

The two-storey, today under monument protection standing villa features a backside grown business wing with a flat roof and lower floor heights.

The villa itself stands on a rubble stone base and has a flat, flattened hipped roof . In the symmetrical street view there is now a two-storey veranda instead of the original terrace with balcony. In is located in the roof which is typical for this type Ziller Villas dormer .

The facades are plastered, the edges of the building are framed by grooved corner pilaster strips, the windows are surrounded by sandstone walls. In the veranda there is a listed Art Nouveau glazing.
