Villa Stolle
The Villa Stolle is an upper-class residential building in the town of Burg in Saxony-Anhalt . The villa is located east of the city center on the corner plot of Berliner Straße 32/33 / Koloniestraße and is a listed building .
Architecture and history
The villa was built in 1888 as a manufacturer's villa in the neo-Gothic style . The design gives the building a defensive character, which refers to the nearby Berlin tower of the Burger city fortifications. The two-storey, plastered building has an octagonal corner tower crowned with battlements as well as little gnomes .
An annex was added later on the southeast side of the house, which affects the overall appearance of the monument.
