history
The company was established in 1959 as Vilniaus televizijos mazgų gamykla in Soviet Lithuania . Then it became Vilniaus radijo komponentų gamykla , later AB "Vilniaus Vingis". On October 6, 2005 UAB Vilniaus Vingio mechanika was established. It has 51 employees (2014). Rimvydas Savickas is the director. The products were sold in all the republics of the Soviet Union . There were 5,000 employees in the company. It was directed by Vaclovas Šleinota .
The company AB Vilniaus Vingis "was ISO 9001 : 2000 and ISO 14001 certified. The production was bought by Samsung SDIHU (Hungary) and Thomson Displays Polska Sp. Z oo (Poland)." Vilniaus Vingis "was with the capitalization of 46, Litas 8 million (EUR 13 million) listed on the Vilnius Stock Exchange. There were two unions: Akcinės Bendrovės "Vilniaus Vingis" Darbininkų Sąjunga (workers) and Akcinės Bendrovės "Vilniaus Vingis" Inžinierių Profsąjunga (engineers) the insolvency proceedings of the former AB "Unikalios investicijos" opened at the Kaunas District Court . On March 24, 2014 AB "Unikalios investicijos" was dissolved.
