The UAB Vilniaus AUTOBUSAI was a transport company , which together with UAB Vilniaus AUTOBUSAI the public transport in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius operation.
history
The company was founded in November 1956. In Oberleitungsbusdepot in Antakalnis there were 20 trolleybuses. The first route was 7.8 kilometers long and led from Antakalnis to Vilnius train station . It was opened on November 3, 1956. Seven MTB-82 D cars were in operation on this route at the time. On December 27, 1990, the private company UAB "Vilniaus troleibusai" was founded in Antakalnis. On 26 March 1996, was union Uždarosios akcinės bendrovės "Vilniaus troleibusai" darbuotojų profesinė sąjunga "Solidarumas" built. On November 17, 2011, the company was dissolved after the reorganization. After the merger with the company UAB Vilniaus autobusai , UAB Vilniaus troleibusai emerged on November 4, 2011 into UAB Vilniaus viešasis transportas .
