Coordinates: 31 ° 56 ′  S , 115 ° 51 ′  E The City of Vincent is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . Vincent belongs to the metropolis of Perth , the capital of Western Australia. The area is ten square kilometers and has about 34,000 inhabitants (2016).

Vincent lies north of the Swan River and borders Perth city ​​center to the southwest . The seat of the City Council is in the Leederville district, where around 3,100 people live (2016).

Until 2011 the LGA was called the Town of Vincent.

The Vincent Council has nine members, eight councilors are elected by the residents of the two wards (four each from North and South Ward). The mayor (mayor) and council chairman is also elected by all residents of the town.
