Vincentas Dienys

Vincentas Dienys (born April 22, 1936 in Aleknos , Rokiškis Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian physicist and politician.

Life

In 1959 he completed his diploma in physics and in 1981 received his doctorate from the Vilniaus universitetas . From 1958 to 1966 he worked at the Institute for Physics and Mathematics , from 1967 to 1990 at the Institute for Semiconductor Physics , from 1968 to 1974 and from 1985 as stllv. Director, head of laboratory from 1968, professor at Vilnius University from 1988 . From 1987 he was a member of Lietuvos mokslų akademija . From 1990 to 1994 he was the deputy of Darius Kuolys and Dainius Trinkūnas at the Lithuanian Ministry of Education .
