Vincenzo Ottorino Gentiloni
Vincenzo Ottorino Gentiloni (born October 13, 1865 in Filottrano , † August 2, 1916 in Rome ) was an Italian politician .
Vincenzo Ottorino Gentiloni came from the Italian noble family of Counts Gentiloni Silveri , nobles (Nobili) of Filottrano, Cingoli and Macerata. The family comes from Tolentino in the Macerata province in the Marche region of central Italy . The family headquarters, dating from the 13th century, is adjacent to the Basilica of San Nicola ; it was affected in the 2016 earthquake.
Vincenzo Gentiloni was director of Catholic Action . In 1909 Pope Pius X appointed him President of the Unione Elettorale Cattolica Italiana ; he is the namesake of the Gentiloni Pact .
He married Elena Teresa Calderai in 1900; there are two daughters from the marriage.
