Vinci Niel Clodumar (born March 23, 1951 ) is a Nauruan politician and former ambassador of the Republic of Nauru to the United Nations in New York .

Clodumar received an engineering degree after completing his training in Australia . Between 1982 and 1989 he worked at the Nauruan Phosphate Society (NPC) from mining engineer to general manager. From 1987 to 1997 he was a member of the Nauruan parliament for the constituency of Meneng . During that time, Clodumar was appointed to ministerial offices by Bernard Dowiyogo several times. In 1989 he was Minister of Justice, Minister of Health and Education until 1992, Minister of Finance until 1994 and Minister of Labor and Services until 1995.

After he was not re-elected in the new elections on February 8, 1997, he worked until 1999 as chairman of the NPC and director of the Nauru Rehabilitation Corporation . On December 22, 1999, Clodumar was presented to UN Secretary General Kofi Annan as permanent UN ambassador to the Republic of Nauru. On March 30, 2005, Clodumar was replaced by his deputy Marlene Moses .

He has been married to his wife Marion since around 1977.
