Vindicator is an American thrash metal band from South Amherst , Ohio that was formed in 2005.

history

The band was formed in the summer of 2005 by the singer and bassist Marshall Law and the brothers Vic (electric guitar) and Jesse Stown (drums). In the following years they released two demos. The debut album There Will Be Blood was released in 2008 self-financed. In the next year appearances followed together with Raven , Overkill , MOD , Hirax , Destruction , Exodus and Kreator . Towards the end of 2008 the band had also re-entered the studio to record material for the split album Outbreak Of Metal Vol. 1 , which they shared with Metal Witch .

After a number of national appearances, the band played with Fueled by Fire at the Thrasho De Mayo Festival in Los Angeles in 2009 . Then the band went on the Nationwide Ruination Tour , which ran from Ohio to Southern California . In early 2010, the band went back to the studio to record the second album, The Antique Witcheries . It was released through Heavy Artillery Records in August of that year .

style

The band plays classic Thrash Metal, which is based on that from the San Francisco Bay Area . Influences of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal can also be heard.
