The Vindknattane ( Norwegian for wind ledges ) are small, up to 962 m high rock ledges in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . They rise up on the eastern flank of Høgisen in the Kraulberge .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1970.
