Andrea Mayer (born April 19, 1962 in Amstetten ), during her marriage to Andrea Ecker , is an Austrian politician and former cabinet director of the presidential chancellery . Since May 20, 2020, she has been State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for Art, Culture, Public Service and Sport in Cabinet Kurz II , nominated by the Greens . Career

Andrea Mayer studied German and history as well as law at the University of Vienna and graduated with the academic degree Magistra . She then worked in the private sector for a few years.
