'Viosinho' is an autochthonous white wine variety in Portugal and is recommended in the Alto Trás-os-Montes region and on the Douro .

The early ripening variety delivers light white wines with a strong acidity when grown in the high altitudes of the Alto Douro . The scent of the wines is floral with light hints of apricot and citrus fruits. Single- variety white wines are rarely offered, but they can withstand aging in wooden barrels. The variety is partly used in white port wine .
