Virginia Carroll
Virginia Carroll (actually Virginia Elizabeth Broberg , born December 2, 1913 in Los Angeles , † July 23, 2009 in Santa Barbara , California ) was an American actress .
Life
Carroll was working as a model when she was spotted for the film. First she played small roles in crime films and war dramas for RKO Pictures ; In the mid-1940s she was cast in a number of B-Westerns . Later she was often seen in TV series episodes . In 1959 she retired from the film business after almost 75 roles as a bar girl, western heroine or nurse.
In 1936 she married the actor Ralph Byrd ; after his death she was married a second time.
