content

The film shows a perfectly normal 12-year-old girl in a typical American city. When the twelve-year-old fell ill with severe epilepsy , her family was very affected and did not know how to deal with it. The impairments caused by epilepsy affect the girl's life and bring various restrictions with it. Only after the family has had talks with their family doctor and a renowned specialist does the mystery surrounding the disorder, which is completely inappropriate, clear for everyone involved.

It is then shown how parents, school friends and the girl's daily environment deal with her epileptic seizures, with reactions from other people being captured. In addition, the causes of epilepsy are investigated and their effects on patients are discussed in detail, both in terms of physical and psychological aspects.
