Virginia Pro Championships

The Virginia Pro Championships were an annual men's squash tournament from 2004 to 2008 . It took place in Richmond , Virginia , in the United States .

With $ 10,000 in prize money, the tournament was initially Category 1 Star , before being upgraded to Category 2 Star and then 3 Star in 2005 and 2006 . In 2007, it was a Category 5 Star with $ 50,000 in prize money , before being part of the PSA World Series in the final year of its hosting . The prize money was $ 77,500, giving the tournament PSA World Series Silver status. In the five years it was held, no player succeeded in winning the tournament more than once or even making it into the final.
