Davenport Virginia Pro Championship 2008

The 2008 Davenport Virginia Pro Championship was held from February 23 to March 1, 2008 in Richmond , Virginia , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2007/08 and belonged to the PSA Super Series Silver category . It was endowed with $ 77,500.

In the final, James Willstrop met Grégory Gaultier , whom he defeated 11: 6, 6:11, 11: 9, 8:11 and 11: 4. This was Willstrop's tenth title win on the World Tour. Last year's winner Anthony Ricketts had ended his career at the end of last season.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The 16 best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Patrick Chifunda a spot in the main draw.
