Shahier Razik (born November 18, 1977 in Cairo , Egypt ) is a former Canadian squash player .

Career

Shahier Razik began his professional career in the 1995 season, winning 23 tournaments on the PSA World Tour . He reached his highest place in the world rankings with rank 20 in June 2008. At the Pan American Games he won a total of four medals between 1999 and 2011. In 2003 he won the gold medal in Santo Domingo both individually and with the team. In the individual final he defeated his compatriot Graham Ryding . In Rio de Janeiro in 2007 and Guadalajara in 2011 he won the silver medal with the team. With the Canadian national team he took part in world championships in 1999 , 2001 , 2003 , 2005 , 2007 , 2009 and 2011 . Razik has been the Canadian champion seven times .
