Virmantas Velikonis
Virmantas Velikonis (born October 15, 1934 in Kaunas , † February 15, 2012 ) was a Lithuanian politician and agronomist .
Life
After graduating from high school in Kėdainiai in 1954 , he graduated from Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in 1959 with a diploma in agronomy . From 1959 to 1961 he was chairman of the board of the "Pergalė" kolkhoz of the Kėdainiai district , from 1961 to 1968 head of the planning commission in the executive committee of Kėdainiai district, from 1977 to 1992 head of the Ramygala collective farm (in Soviet Lithuania ). From 1992 to 2004 he was a member of the Seimas .
From 2005 to 2007 and from 2007 to 2008 he was a member of the council of Panevėžys Rajonggemeinde .
