Visage is an independent survival horror video game from SadSquare Studio. Similar to Allison Road , the game is a spiritual successor to PT The game wasfundedthrough Kickstarter and had a successful Steam Greenlight campaign.

action

Visage is set in a huge house where terrible things have happened. The setting is the 1980s in a remote city. The house the characters are in has been standing for centuries, and the foundation never seems to crumble. Dozens of families have lived here. Many of them died brutally while others lived their lives peacefully in their beloved homes.

The player experiences fragments of the history of the house, each of which brings him closer to what lies behind the dark history of the place. The player witnesses firsthand how people died in the terrible house. Every death has its own face .

development

Development of Visage began in January 2015 and was announced in September 2015. The game was successfully funded through a Kickstarter campaign that ran from January to March 2016. According to the developer, the use of so-called jump cars should be reduced to a minimum. Players play as Dwayne, who is tasked with investigating the house and its surroundings to uncover the terrifying truth. The game uses an atmospheric soundtrack that also provides clues to alert players to dangers in the house. The game is said to have multiple endings and the developers say it is not an easy game and it takes around 8 to 10 hours to complete the main story.

On September 12, 2018, Sad Square Studio announced on its Facebook page that “We are committed to bringing a playable version of the game to PC this month. A delay is VERY unlikely, but still possible. We'll let you know as soon as we know. "

The demo for Visage was released on Steam on October 2, 2018, with the aim of being fully released by February 2019.
