Viscount Tenby

Viscount Tenby , of Bulford in the County of Pembroke , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

The title was created on February 12, 1957 for the liberal politician Gwilym Lloyd George , the second son of the last Liberal Prime Minister David Lloyd George . He had been Secretary of State and Minister, especially under Churchill , most recently Minister of the Interior , for several years .

As a male descendant in a straight line, the respective Viscount stands in the line of succession for the titles awarded to David Lloyd George, namely Earl Lloyd-George of Dwyfor and its subordinate title Viscount Gwynedd .
